During office hours calls are taken by staff members. After hours, that is the evening, overnight, weekends and public holidays Arafmi is seeking volunteers to take calls from our carers to provide emotional support, information and/or referral - as determined by the caller. Volunteers can do a range of activities with clients, depending on client needs, wants and capabilities. Examples include talking over a cup of tea, reading newspapers or books together, taking selfies, cooking up a storm, go fishing or driving to the beach.
