In this volunteer role, you will be the face of the organization and the first point of contact for our families, volunteers, donors and visitors who walk through our doors during after-hours and provide support in the event of an emergency. You will act as after-hours sentinels who ensure efficiency of evening House operations from 5.00PM-9.00PM.
Based at The Townsville Hospital, our warm and welcoming Ronald McDonald Family Room provides a refuge for parents whose child is receiving treatment at the hospital. Through the generous contribution of volunteers, this facility is available to families 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.
