Are you handy with the BBQ tongs? Do you love the smell of sausages and onions? QSHBA is a volunteer-run not-for-profit group that is very active in the community. We have 4 permanent bands that perform regularly: the Queensland Mounted Infantry Historical Troop Band, the Queensland Show Band, the Bayside Youth Band and QSHBA Drum Corps. By helping run our BBQs at Bunnings and the Manly Markets, you will help us to continue sharing our music. Suitable for short term or long term volunteers.
Each month the Albany CWA have a fundraising stall at the CWA Monthly Markets. Volunteers are needed to knit, crochet, sew and/or bake items to be sold on the stall. Other crafts (weaving, tatting etc.) also welcome. CWA will provide materials in consultation with the volunteer. If you would like to help with your crafty ability they would love to hear from you. This could be completed in your own home.
