The Smith Family is seeking volunteers during the lead up to the busy Christmas period and beyond, willing to work as part of a team in our National Office, Market St, Sydney providing the opportunity to use and enhance your customer service, administration, communication & computer skills, alongside other passionate team members.

• Support students with homework and subject-specific skills
• Assist in maintaining positive behavior and relationships with students
• Commitment of 1-2 hours per week for 2 school terms

• Implement and manage training plans, monitor trainee progress
• Collaborate with core team to improve training processes
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design required

• Conduct mock interviews with students and provide feedback
• Offer 'real world' interview tips based on personal experience
• Complete evaluation forms with constructive feedback for each student

• Supporting teaching staff, especially Special Education teacher
• Empathy with students from diverse backgrounds, caring attitude required
• Volunteer role, interview with Volunteering Central Coast needed

• Support young people in creative writing and storytelling workshops
• Provide mentorship and encouragement under the supervision of educators
• Training provided, commitment of 2.5 hours per week required

• Commit minimum 2 hours weekly for school year
• Warm, patient, encouraging personality; passion for helping children learn
• Training, support provided by EdConnect Australia; long-term commitment required

• Support students in various year levels with reading and numeracy
• Commit minimum 2 hours weekly for school year duration
• No teaching experience required, just willingness to help children

• Volunteer to assist with breakfast club at local primary school
• Offer up to 3 hours a week, flexible days and times
• Training provided by EdConnect, impacting young students' lives

• Design and build a decorative garden bridge for children
• Assist with Gardening Club activities and outdoor learning spaces
• Promote gardening knowledge, sustainability, and nature exploration

• Support migrants and refugees in developing English language skills
• No teaching experience needed; must be NSW or ACT resident
• 1 hour weekly commitment, free TESOL training provided

• Assist with Miracle Moon Walk event for Miracle Babies Foundation
• Roles include cheering, answering queries, and managing junctions
• Volunteer shifts range from 3-5 hours between 3pm - 8pm

• Support students in identified areas for improvement
• Commit 1-2 hours weekly, assist in learning process
• Liaise with Coordinator on student progress and outcomes

• Contribute to child safety, governance, and strategic decision-making
• Seeking diverse expertise in finance, strategy, governance, legal leadership

• Review research proposals for ethical approval
