Jamie's Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen will be heading to Bundaberg in May 2019! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us on board to assist with our cooking classes. The commitment is 2 hours per week for our classes that will run for 10 weeks with two consecutive 5 week cooking courses. And of course all our vollies are well fed! A high level of skill using the iPhone, iPad and Android systems is required to assist our mature age students in becoming familiar with their electronic devices. (C)
A skilled and/or experienced mature age volunteer computer tutor is required to assist seniors become more confident in the use of Smart Phones; Internet; Email; Skype; Word Processing and Spread Sheets. Tutoring is on a "one on one" basis. An hour lesson is considered adequate as students need to gain confidence and skills. Extensive computer experience, knowledge and skills in working with both Apple Products and Personal Computers. A Tutor must have a patient manner.
Do you have a flair for taking photos and updating your Facebook page? If so, this may be the position for you. We need a volunteer to take photographs and to keep records of garden activities, also update our Facebook page and send off photographs to sponsors. You will be required to attend garden events to take photographs.
