About Rotary Hawthorn:
Rotary Hawthorn is a vibrant community service Not-For Profit Club, part of Rotary International, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the local and international community through a range of projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop an engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing website.
- Ensure the website is responsive and optimised for desktop and mobile devices.
- Update and maintain website content regularly, including event information, news, and project updates.
- Collaborate with Rotary members and leadership to gather website requirements and feedback.
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any website technical issues.
- Ensure the website aligns with Rotary Hawthorn’s branding and messaging.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years' experience in website design, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Rotary ClubRunner or similar).
- Strong graphic design skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for community service and Rotary’s mission.
