Videoconferencing Specialist (Zoom)

About Rotary Hawthorn:
Rotary Hawthorn is a vibrant community service Not-For Profit Club, part of Rotary International, and dedicated to making a positive impact in the local and international community through a range of projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and moderate Zoom meetings and webinars for Rotary Hawthorn, including Club meetings, Committee meetings, Board meetings and special events.
- Provide technical support to members and presenters before and during meetings to ensure smooth connectivity and usage of Zoom features.
- Manage Zoom licenses, scheduling, and meeting settings to optimize security, accessibility, and user experience.
- Document and assist other members on best practices and effective use of Zoom’s features (screen sharing, breakout rooms, polls, recording, chat, etc.).
- Troubleshoot issues related to audio, video, and connectivity in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with event organisers and club leadership to tailor Zoom meeting configurations to event requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards in all videoconferencing activities.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience managing Zoom videoconferencing for organisations, preferably Not-For-Profits or community groups.
- In-depth knowledge of Zoom’s functionalities and advanced features.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide clear technical guidance.
- Excellent communication skills and patience in assisting users of varying technical abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple requests, and respond promptly to technical needs.
- Enthusiasm for Rotary’s mission and commitment to community service.
