Volunteer with people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program FitSkills FitSkills is a evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. Together they will exercise at their local gym, fitness centre or health club. The program runs for 12 weeks and participants go to the gym together twice a week.

Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria is currently seeking a friendly volunteer to accompany a lady who is blind living in a nursing home in South Melbourne on a little walk around the internal gardens and enjoy a chat and cuppa afterwards. This lady also has a mild form of Dementia, so you need to be a patient person with a positive attitude to people living with disability. This will be a 1-2 hour time commitment each week. You must be up to date with your Covid-19 vaccinations.
