Electrify Yarra will deliver three public events between now and March 2026 around home electrification and electric transport - e-bikes, scooters and EV's.

We are a volunteer team in the City of Yarra driving our energy transition at the local level - households consume a major share of Australia's total domestic energy consumption. This must change if we are to address climate change.

We are looking for a person with experience planning, organising medium-large sized (50-2000 participants) community events:

• determining budgets for suitable venues, catering (if any) and other items
• identifying and booking venues
• identifying and organising expert speakers
• preparing event registration through Humanitix, collecting required basic demographic info
• editing and coordinating presentation material (we use Google Slides, Canva) and feedback forms
• working with the Electrify Yarra team on event promotional strategy and content
• coordinating venues, speakers, content and catering (if any) before and during events Help evaluate, plan and execute larger events for even greater impact.
