The Australian Epilepsy Project (AEP) aims to change the lives of people living with epilepsy through advanced testing and AI by 2025. To achieve this we need your help. We are seeking volunteers to join our control group. Control groups are vital to a research study providing a point of comparison for general participants and helping to determine the study's efficacy. Your participation will help shape the future landscape of epilepsy diagnoses and treatment for thousands of Australians.

Calling all "kids at heart"! The Newcastle and Hunter Toy Library is seeking a regular volunteer to assist with the running of the Toy Library sessions on Saturday mornings. The Toy Library is a terrific service based at New Lambton Library and run entirely by volunteers.

Work with this friendly and positive team to actively engage with and support young people on program. Programs may include face to face activities such as Activity days, Camps, and ‘Connect’ sessions (online). Your strong literacy and numeracy skills, and your patience and dedication, will be highly regarded in this role, assisting Adult Vocational Education students who may be challenged by, or face barriers with, the literacy and numeracy requirements within the course they are undertaking. You’ll assist a student with reading, writing & numeracy exercises, sometimes during class and sometimes one-on-one.
