The position requires forming a friendly relationship with an older person living in an aged care home in Woy Woy by visiting at least once a fortnight. Increase their wellbeing by looking at photos, reminiscing, reading the paper, going for walks in the garden, listening to music, playing games etc.. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required. You will be contacted soon to arrange a mutually convenient time and place. ***
With your assistance as a mini-bus driver, people with dementia will enjoy short outings as you drive them on short local trips. Accompanied by our care staff, you'll explore your local community with up to 8 residents. Valid drivers licence is required.
