Chantal Cottage is a Day Centre for elderly people living with mild dementia. Volunteers join our dynamic team in providing clients with a friendly and relaxed home-like atmosphere in which to socialise and participate in activities including games, music, arts and crafts and gentle exercise. Volunteers assist staff by engaging clients in activities at the Centre and providing extra social support.

Volunteers needed to visit residents in an Aged Care Facility in Wahroonga NSW, for social support and friendship on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Do boardgames, go for a walk, have a chat and a cuppa or just provide a friendly company for the resident/s.

She has a Methodist background but was part of the School of Philosophy for 40 years which has had more of an impact on her life. She will benefit from having a pastoral care volunteer visit her.

This is an essential role which ensures our cats and kittens are kept healthy & comfortable. Working as part of our friendly team you will find yourself cleaning the cat suites, washing food bowls, scoops and litter trays and sweeping and mopping the floors. When we have taken care of our cats' needs, there’s always time to socialize with them. This is enjoyable for us but also essential for the cats. The more adjusted they are to humans, the better their chances of getting adopted.
