We are looking for a lead singer for a sing-along group. The main purpose of the role is to help people living with dementia to reminiscence. The role is not for a professional singer, instead for someone with a love for music and singing and the passion to make a difference to our elderly residents.

Volunteers join our dynamic team in providing clients with a friendly and relaxed home-like atmosphere in which to socialise and participate in activities including games, music, arts and crafts and gentle exercise. Volunteers assist staff by engaging clients in activities at the Centre and providing extra social support.

Willoughby Day Centre runs daily programs to provide socializing opportunities and activities for elderly people who are living with mild dementia.

This is an essential role which ensures our cats and kittens are kept healthy & comfortable. Working as part of our friendly team you will find yourself cleaning the cat suites, washing food bowls, scoops and litter trays and sweeping and mopping the floors. When we have taken care of our cats' needs, there’s always time to socialize with them. This is enjoyable for us but also essential for the cats. The more adjusted they are to humans, the better their chances of getting adopted.

HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in an aged care home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be a Christian actively involved with a local Christian church in the area.
