Street Mission is seeking volunteer supervisors to oversee our kitchen on a monthly basis at our Community Cafe in Balgowlah on Saturday nights (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM). The position is suitable to be shared between two people. Experience in food preparation and some experience in kitchen supervision (whether in a commercial kitchen, school or sport canteen, or other volunteer organisation, etc) is highly desirable. Access to a vehicle is important, to bring the purchased ingredients to the kitchen.

Volunteers needed to visit residents in an Aged Care Facility in Manly Vale NSW 2093, for social support and friendship on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Do boardgames, go for a walk, have a chat and a cuppa or just provide a friendly company for the resident/s.
Streetwork will be holding a BBQ at the Manly Marlins vs Warringah (Home Game) to raise funds and increase awareness of our work in the local community. We require assistance from 9.30am to help with the set up of the BBQ and also with the cooking.
