The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will ensure that Story Dogs remains an active and relevant organisation by raising awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

Ideally you will have completed or are well advanced in your Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing course and have had some experience in a vet practice involving cats and kittens already.

It is staffed exclusively by home-based volunteers who fulfill a wide range of positions within the organistion. WRA is expanding its operation and requires the services of an experienced, mature manager to process new membership applications. This position is suited to a responsible person willing to commit to a voluntary organisation and who wishes to work from the comfort of home.
Furry Friends Animal Rescue Organisation QLD (FFARQ) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes animal welfare by providing temporary foster homes for homeless pets, adopting them to qualified homes and reducing overpopulation through the desexing of all animals. Furry Friends operates remotely, with animals being carefully placed with volunteer Foster Carers until they are adopted rather than operating a traditional shelter model.
