Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. Habitat for Humanity Australia requires volunteers for repair and maintenance work on crisis accommodation. The program benefits disadvantaged and socially isolated members of the community. There is a range of volunteer opportunities both in and around Newcastle. No skills are required! Teams are mobilised to conduct landscaping, painting and minor repairs to homes and crisis accommodation.

We are in search of passionate volunteer artists to lend their talent and creativity to enhance the atmosphere of our facility. Individuals skilled in painting walls and pots to bring life and vibrancy to our communal spaces. By volunteering your artistic abilities, you will directly contribute to enriching the lives of our residents and creating a more visually appealing environment for all.

We require passionate & friendly volunteers to help The Salvos raise much needed funds. Community fundraising at shopping centres involves collecting donations while sitting at one place, you may be required to use an Eftpos machine. Intersection collecting involves engaging with motorists at intersections encouraging them to donate, you must have some level of fitness as there is lots of walking involved.
