When disaster or emergency strikes, our Salvation Army Emergency Services (SAES) teams support communities at their point of need. You’ll find our volunteers providing meals and refreshments to first responders and evacuees, distributing bedding and material needs for displaced community members, and holding a listening ear for those who have experienced the disaster firsthand. Our SAES teams rely on volunteers and are always looking for new recruits.

We are committed to strengthening and extending our emergency aid services to assist all Australians in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. As part of our Emergency Services team, you will join our cohort of trained volunteers ready to assist locally and across the state in times of emergency.
