Assist with the operation of the Book Trolley at our Centre. This role involves processing donated books and magazines, including screening suitable books and magazines for content. You will organise and maintain the Volunteer Library, organise and transport the book trolley, offer books and magazines to consumers, their carers, and families in our Centre and provide general support and/or conversation to involve them in positive connections.

Join our team to assist Residents as they take a bus trip around the local community. Sometimes assist with a gentle walk in a park or sit on a bench watching the surfers, taking in the beautiful scenery. You will be helping older Residents in care enjoy their bus outing and have fun in the community.

Enjoy the great outdoors and spend time in the sunshine in our gardens as you walk alongside our elderly residents. You'll be helping people to maintain their mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing.

Do you like to knit, sew or crochet? Would you like to visit residents and provide conversation while you knit/sew/crochet? Some of our residents used to knit but are unable to now. They would love to watch you and chat.

You will assist our property staff by participating in activities related to the maintenance and general upkeep of our property. Activities may include · Touch up painting · Outdoor furniture upkeep · General gardening · Wood mulch distribution ·Feeding birds & cleaning bird cage ·Assisting move small items of furniture ·Assisting to move life engagement equipment such as a ping pong table ·Assisting to set up for events and BBQs ·Wheelchair repair ·Trimming branches and cleaning with a gurney.
