The role of a HREC is to evaluate and monitor the ethical conduct of research involving humans. This involves focus on ethical considerations in the design, development, review and conduct of research, such as assessing the risk versus benefit or whether consent will be appropriately obtained or whether consent should be waived.

We are looking for someone who loves wombats and has flexible availability, great people skills, basic office experience and is comfortable presenting to groups online and in person. The role is to assist with recruitment, induction & training of new volunteers, and ongoing training and support for existing volunteers as well as external group presentations. In-field experience treating wombats will be provided and proximity to trainers in the North East of Melbourne is essential.
