We are a volunteer-powered not-for-profit organisation. Our vision is an Australia in which climate action is a top priority: Community, business and government unite to make the courageous and urgent changes needed to avoid catastrophic climate change and return us to safer temperatures. Our vision is to create the social and political will necessary for that to occur. To do this, we help everyday Australians talk about climate change more effectively and more frequently. Increasing research shows that personal and social change happens when we talk to people we know and trust. We’re not all talk though: The conversations we facilitate centre around taking action, and 80% of our audience report a change in at least one behaviour. Since beginning in Melbourne in 2015, we’ve grown to be operating in every state of Australia. Over 11,000 people have attended one of our Climate Conversations, and we’ve reached even more through our campaigns and other programs.
