We are seeking a compassionate volunteer for our digital literacy programs. Assisting the trainer who hosts classes for senior citizens and multicultural clients in our community to use electronic devices such as iPads, mobile phones, laptops, and smartwatches. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate communication and ensure the needs of the senior citizens and multicultural clients are met during these interactions.

Volunteer to work with a team and one-on-one to assist and support students with various schoolwork related needs such as navigating the tertiary institution, assignments or other course tasks, literacy, and comprehension. Knowledge in area of study not required. Days and times vary, program runs through school terms at a public or university library.

Part of the Cultural exchange programs, conversations the volunteer will assist with all aspects of the program in the following way, assist set up activities in preparation for the day, with morning or afternoon teas, with clients with activities as directed, and support staff in the provision of activities including participating in client outings when required.
