We are seeking a Farsi speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly person in care. Ideally you will be able to speak Farsi fluently, be able to visit for a cuppa and a chat or weather permitting take a walk around the grounds together and stop at the onsite café.

At Twilight Aged Care we have an active and growing volunteer program that is comprised of compassionate and dedicated individuals looking to improve the quality of life of residents through genuine social engagement, activities, and one on one conversations.

Very special volunteers are required to visit patients and their families in a home environment and provide companionship to the patient and respite for the carer.

Make a difference in children's and families lives by volunteering in the family home. Get to know the family by visiting weekly to provide meaningful support and practical help for families who have a child with a life limiting illness. Arabic speakers are desirable for this role but not compulsory.

🌼Italian Speaking Social Visit Volunteer 🤝💛 We are seeking a kind, Italian‑speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly resident who would truly treasure conversation in their own language. A friendly visit over a cuppa and a chat ☕💬, or—when the weather is kind—a gentle walk around the grounds 🌿🚶‍♀️ with a stop at the onsite café, can mean more than words can express.

Volunteer required to assist with transporting clients to appointments and events, explaining documents and forms to clients, assisting Multicultural Officers in completing paperwork, advocating for clients when required and to assist in one off events when needed. You will need to have good interpersonal skills, be approachable, demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting refugees and be able to communicate well with both refugees and workers.
