Digital Literacy Volunteer Assistant
Volunteers assist senior citizens and multicultural clients with their electronic devices. Your role is to support the interaction and ensure a positive experience for the learners.
Act as a bridge between the trainer and senior citizens and multicultural clients, facilitating effective communication. Ensure that questions are answered, instructions are clear, and that both parties feel comfortable during the learning process.
Demonstrate empathy and patience while working with learners who may be new to technology. Help create a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for learning.
Offer assistance as needed, such as helping clients hold or navigate their devices, read instructions, or access specific applications or features.
Keep a watchful eye on the interactions, stepping in if any issues or challenges arise, and offering guidance or support when required.
