As a volunteer, your responsibilities will involve helping clients participate in activities aligned with their interests and abilities, assisting staff in organizing a variety of activities, meal preparation and service with supervision, and acting as a bus host for client transportation.

Volunteer with this Service and provide a support person role for people with cognitive impairment at courthouses, police stations, lawyer’s offices and prisons. Volunteers ensure that criminal justice processes and language are explained clearly and that the client’s wishes and decisions are respected. Your strong communication skills and the ability to relate to and interact well with others will be highly regarded. Basic computer skills are required for this role.
