Wesley Aged Care Volunteer Visitors is a service that connects volunteers with people who are experiencing loneliness or isolation.

Jan is in her is in her late 70’s, she wants to stay fit and active but just can’t keep up with the larger social groups anymore. Would you like to meet her at the Hunter Valley Gardens or other local attractions for a walk and coffee and a chat? Jan lives alone and would love some extra company. If you love a chin wag, and a fortnightly walk, this could be the volunteer opportunity for you.

Our volunteers often say they get as much out of volunteering as they put in and they love the chats that they have with the people they visit. What would it take for you to build a friendship with someone new? We will introduce you and provide ongoing support, we even host celebration events to say thank you for making a difference to this person.
