Minimum exposure to human beings ensures that animals in care recover swiftly, suffer less stress and are less susceptible to human conditioning and dependence. Unlike zoos wildlife hospitals generally offer a 'hands off' wildlife experience. Even though animal handling/interaction is very low, you will have the opportunity to help sick and injured wildlife return to the wild. This process is crucial for their long-term survival and a privilege to experience.
