Urgently need volunteers to support our social enterprises and help with the 'day to day' operations of the Op Store in Emerton.
Volunteer required to visit two older men living in a residential aged care home in Roselands for social support and friendship on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Thee men love to have a chat over a coffee, play bingo or go for a walk in the garden. You would also need to be available on weekdays. It would be great if you could visit them individually and regularly to reduce their feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Volunteer required to visit an older man living in his own home in Maroubra for social support and friendship on a weekly or fortnightly basis. This man enjoys chatting over a coffee. You would need to be fluent in Greek and have an awareness of the Greek culture. You would also need to be available on weekdays. It would be great if you could visit him regularly to reduce his feelings of loneliness and isolation.
