The role of a Volunteer Workshop Assistant is to assist in the preparation and set up of wheelchairs and other equipment. Each of our clients have individual ergonomic requirements, you will be working closely with our workshop staff to modify and tailor mobility devices for our clients.

We are looking for readers, presenters and technical operators to be a part of our local radio teams. Vision Australia radio put print to audio, and ensure all members of the community have access to community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers.

Join our Wollongong team! Use your admin and customer service skills 1–2 days a week (Thursday or Friday). Once a month, host a small client group for social engagement. This varied and rewarding volunteer role makes a real difference. Apply now to learn more!
