As Operations Manager for a brand new startup charity, your role is critical in allowing us to provide the best service we can to our guests. You will get to know the other volunteers, roster them for shifts, manage the paperwork associated with our day to day activities, and ensure the shop is kept clean and presentable.

Our pantry team are responsible for attending to the shop during opening hours. This involves greeting guests and helping them access the pantry, restocking items as needed, and creating a strong sense of community to make people feel welcome.

Our cooking team meets on Wednesdays to make meals for our Kitchen Project which distributes 50-100 meals every week. You will be involved with food prep and cooking in a commercial kitchen at your comfort level.

You will be involved in making sales, stocking shelves, rotating and displaying stock, barcoding, helping customers in our Op shop, furniture display, and at the checkout. This role will also include general cleaning.

Can you spare an hour or two once a week or fortnight to help an older gentleman in Cameron Park?  Do you enjoy gardening and being outdoors? We are looking for someone to support an older gentleman who is active but would enjoy some company and some help with some hedge trimming and minor garden maintenance.

Your outgoing personality and previous experience will be highly regarded in this role. An experienced Checkout Operator is required for a local charity. You will be friendly, personable and able to handle high volumes of Customers.

Your ability to work in a team and physical fitness will be highly regarded in this role. You'll be working alongside the Truck Driver, loading and unloading of bulky (and sometimes heavy) items and assisting with deliveries and pickups. You may also provide assistance with rearranging bulky items around the warehouse. Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential. National Criminal and Working with Children Checks and current drivers licence (at least Class C) are required.

Do you enjoy helping others and meeting people? We are looking for a Csfe Helper to assist in our Centre. This role involves maintaining tea and coffee supplies for our visitors, including filling urns and ensuring plenty of cups and tea & coffee are available. You will assist with giving out lunches to clients. This role involves some general cleaning duties.
