Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! As a HammondCare Golden Cup Café Club Volunteer, you'll be helping residents enjoy meeting others and socialising at our onsite engagement space 'The Hub'. Fortnightly visits will see you inviting residents to the café club, starting conversations, taking drink requests, serving some treats for afternoon tea, maybe even start a sing-along, to name a few.

As you visit and spend time with elderly male residents at HammondCare Waratah, you'll help with activities to build friendship amongst the male residents. Some common activities include cooking at BBQ, card games with tea/coffee cake and an occasional beer and chips.

Sailing Club Offers Unique Roles One of Lake Macquarie’s fastest growing sailing clubs is seeking volunteers to drive its rescue boats and assist the race officer after an overwhelming demand for its junior learn to sail program.

Work with a supportive team and develop your skills. You will undertake general reception duties and provide administrative support including answering the phone, taking enquiries, customer service, and general computer use. You should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and internet usage, though training can be provided. Good phone manner is essential, along with a willingness to learn and follow instructions. Discretion and confidentiality are essential to this role.

If you enjoy working in the outdoors, this is the role for you. You'll assist with mowing, whipper-snipping, hand weeding, spraying, mulching and planting. All PPE and equipment (self-propelled mowers, whipper-snippers etc) provided. All chemical use is under strictly controlled conditions. No previous gardening/groundsperson experience required, but would be useful.
