The Country Fire Service (CFS) accepts young men and women aged between 11-18 years to become cadets. The Cadet Program enables young people to learn about the CFS, develop practical skills required of CFS volunteers and also become involved with an organisation that provides opportunities for personal development. Please note: Not all brigades have a Cadet Program.
If you would like to be a part of Bicycle SA's Dirty Days mountain bike events then join the volunteer team as a Ride Marshal. You will be responsible for the safety and support of intermediate and beginner mountain bikers at various locations in the Adelaide Hills.
If you would like to be a part of Bicycle SA's Dirty Days mountain bike events then join the volunteer team in charge of the BBQ and also the fire pits. You will be responsible for setting up and cooking sausages and onions, including lighting and maintaining the fire pits.
If you would like to be a part of Bicycle SA's Dirty Days mountain bike events then join the team as a Car Park Marshal and Refreshment Station volunteer. You will be responsible for car parking and also setting up and serving refreshments at the rest stop at one or as many of the Dirty Days mountain bike events during our 2019 series.
Helpers are needed for Community Adventure Day. Community Adventure Day involves activities to be completed in teams of three or four. A mix of the Amazing Race along with a treasure hunt. Helpers are needed for various roles.
Being a St John First Aid Volunteer provides people with an opportunity to enhance their existing qualifications or learn a variety of new skills, whilst giving back to the community, a service that is truly valuable. St John First Aid Volunteers are readily mobilised to provide first aid or support services as part of the State Emergency Management Plan - working alongside the other emergency services during bush fires and floods.
