We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one to two days per week to keep our Residential Care Home looking its best. Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes. BBQ checks. pressure washing paths. re-arranging storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks. If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.

Fortnightly visits will see you inviting residents to the café club, starting conversations, taking drink requests, serving some treats for afternoon tea, maybe even start a sing-along, to name a few.

As you visit and spend time with elderly male residents at HammondCare Waratah, you'll help with activities to build friendship amongst the male residents. Some common activities include cooking at BBQ, card games with tea/coffee cake and an occasional beer and chips.
