The Community Liaison & Concierge volunteer will improve the experience of visitors and services users supporting their engagement and support the team with the delivery of activities and events.
As a HammondCare Afternoon Tea Volunteer, you'll be helping residents enjoy a variety of activities at our onsite engagement space 'The Hub'. Fortnightly visits will see you helping set up for a mini movie session, hosting a quiz or even serving some treats for afternoon tea to name a few. Come along and prepare for a variety of engagement as you volunteer your time at HammondCare Cardiff. You'll be helping to reduce social isolation.

Working with a small team of staff and other volunteers, you will help run Brekkie Club in the school grounds of Wiley Park Girls High School.
CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. Meals will go to the growing number of people in Adelaide experiencing homelessness who, otherwise, would go hungry.
Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.
Various kitchen duties, be capable of cutting up food and be able to present food well. Assist in washing up and setting up tables. The role starts with ENTRY LEVEL duties with responsibilities increasing over time. It is quieter in the mornings increasing over the lunchtime period. ***To be referred to this role a face-to-face interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required.
