The Treasurers role is a volunteer position and oversees all of the finances on behalf of the committee maintaining all necessary documentation and records as required by the Centre and legislation.
We want some people who would be happy to share their gift of music and play piano one or two times a week for an hour session to entertain our elderly residents.
Some of our lovely elderly residents wish to enjoy an afternoon out and about on small mystery visit or an afternoon drive. Are you free to accompany a small group of residents and staff?
Do you like to enjoy sharing your time with others to conduct happy hour for our elders. This is a favorite time of the week, where our seniors come together and enjoy fine wines, beers, and some afternoon delights.
Do you have experience in hand and nail care? Do you enjoy caring for others?
Our male residents enjoy to gather and stay interested in matters of the world, have a game of pool or cards and keep connected and active in men particular activities. The weeks can vary depending on the men attending the Men's Shed, ideas such as building things, fixing things, creating things, painting, brewing beer or a men's group chat on matters of the world.
We are looking for people who have time to assist our team with proving morning tea and afternoon tea to our elderly residents in our Aged Care Homes. No previous experience required as you will be taught on the job. We do need polite, well mannered patient people that have clear English language and a warm heart and listening ear.
Our elderly people living in our Aged Care Homes enjoy their gardens and would love to have support creating garden beds, and growing some herbs and flowers as the seasons change.
This role supports our busy hospitality team to deliver a positive food dining experience to residents. In this role you will assist in food preparation, food service and kitchen hand duties across all operations of the hospitality team. All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations, triple Covid vaccinations and a Police clearance to work with vulnerable persons.
Our residents living at Eldercare Aged Care Homes like to connect with others and take part in creative activities such as art and drawing, craft, playing games and keeping active. Do you have some spare time to volunteer to share and support our residents to connect and stay active?
Do you have a dog or pet that is suitable to come with you to our Aged Care home and share some social interaction with our residents? Our residents living at our Hope Valley Aged Care Home really miss the family pets they had in their family homes. Animals bring great joy to others hearts and the social chit chat and a pat bring smiles and fill hearts. All volunteers must have the Influenza vaccinations, the Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work in Aged Care.
Do you love working with kids? Would you like to receive first-hand experience in Early Childhood Care and Education? Or maybe you enjoy being surrounded by lovely young people and having fun with games and assisting with arts and crafts! We have opportunities for volunteers to join our friendly team located at the Family Zone Community Centre in the Northern suburbs.
Could you be the handy and creative volunteer we are looking for to help design and create solutions for people in need? How about joining TADSA's team of volunteers who help people overcome disability and age related challenges by making or modifying devices and equipment to build independence.
Our residents living at our Aged Care Home like to continue to connect with others and take part in creative activities such as art, drawing and craft activities. They also enjoy playing games, bingo, attending church, hair dressers, outdoor activities and more. Do you have some spare time to share and support our resident to connect and stay active?
We need volunteers who can share their time to support our elderly residents living in aged care residential homes at Hope Valley and Mount Barker.
