STATE REPRESENTATIVE
Responsibilities
- Program and organise state social events, support networking meeting and gatherings for the association
- Prepare a calendar of state social events that will attract the widest involvement from all members after consultation with all other committee members
- Lead and coordinate the development, delivery and evaluation of state support networks programs
- Facilitate emotional connections to deepen engagement between ASCA and patients, caregivers and volunteers
- Improve knowledge on healthy behaviors and quality of life for sickle cell disease patients
- Develop and design engaging, educationally sound courses for delivery online, face to face and in the clinical field
- Support colleagues and learners in the effective use of peer-to-peer support
- Contribute to the management of online course processes and procedures
- Relationships
**Reports to the Executive Director and the ASCA President
- Liaise with all relevant committee members and any person responsible for and or running any support network meetings and gathering under the ASCA umbrella
