Vaucluse Car Club is a group of people who collect rare, vintage cars. They do a spring and autumn car show where the cars are in the park for people to admire. There is also food, coffee carts etc in the park. Instead of asking for people to buy tickets, they ask them to donate to us. We require volunteers to provide essential transport services for our clients who may be aged, living with disability, or experiencing disadvantage. Drivers use our’ fleet of well-kept, branded vehicles to transport clients to attend shopping and/or appointments. The role delivers a door-through-door service. This includes assisting clients from their door into/out of the vehicle. In addition to the transport, the service provides highly valued incidental social interaction with our clients.
