Lead a team of outdoor workers with maintenance of the grounds and the surrounds of the Centre in weeding, mulching, planting and watering. An interest in plants & experience with native vegetation is required . A love of working outdoors and a strong teamwork ethic is necessary for the position. Hours are flexible, as are days of the week.

We are looking for a motivated person to assist in the cleaning of the Visitor Centre. This is a most important role as entry to our site is via the Visitor Centre so first impressions are most important to us. The duties include cleaning, vacuuming, rubbish disposal, attending to toilets and other weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required. A cleaner is required on weekdays on Monday, Wednesday or Friday for half a day or Saturday afternoon or Sunday mornings for approximately 2 hours.

We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one to two days per week to keep our Residential Care Home looking its best. Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repair or maintenance, changing light globes. BBQ checks. pressure washing paths. re-arranging storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks. If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.

Sometimes assist with a gentle walk in a park or sit on a bench watching the dolphins & surfers, taking in the beautiful scenery. As you visit and spend time with elderly male residents at HammondCare Waratah, you'll help with activities to build friendship amongst the male residents. Some common activities include cooking at BBQ, card games with tea/coffee cake and an occasional beer and chips.
