Holiday Program is for primary school aged children who attend whole day activities and sessions during the school holidays. The program runs for the duration of the weekdays of the school holidays, excluding public holidays. The program includes incursions and excursions. Each day is themed with activities, and children spend the day at the Centre from 8.30am – 4.30pm.
Greeting community members, answering telephone, taking bookings for classes, general office administration, helping to set up classrooms, taking attendance for classes.
We are looking for a variety of volunteers to helping the classroom tutors with our adult migrant english classes, basic computer classes, All Ability life skill classes and iPad, Tablet and smart phone courses.
Supporting the Classroom Tutor for our class in 'iPads, Tablets & More', 'Intro to Computers' and 'Computers, Next Steps' classes. The class teachers adult students how to use your iPad, Android tablet or phone and desktop computers. The volunteer helper will have skills in the use of iPads, Tablets, Smart phones and computers and be capable of helping solve problems with the Tutor's support.

The group provides participants a recreational and social outlet as well as the opportunity to meet others in their local community.
Team Sports 4 All assists families who are going through financial and/or social hardship; we connect them with their local sporting club and integrate them into a team sport of their choice. We cover registration fees and uniform costs but more importantly give ongoing support via our group of volunteers to encourage long term participation in community sport.

This role involves the coordination, development and delivery of MMF community engagement programs, including dedicated education workshops, public presentations, and attendance at community events. You will be required to maintain and expand MMF’s outreach engagement programs, deliver program content, liaise with community and stakeholder groups, and work within the MMF Education Team. This is a volunteer position, with opportunity to expand into a renumerated part- or full-time position.
