Hello! 👋 I’m Chami, the founder of Law Wise Youth. Based in Melbourne, our charity is driven by a mission to transform how young Australians engage with legal knowledge and life skills. We do this by bridging the often vast gap between classroom learning and real-life legal challenges.

Roles Available:

1. Grants Officers: You'll tackle the challenge of securing funding by drafting and submitting grant applications.
2. Partnerships Managers (Events & Socials): Enhance our outreach by forging new relationships for event sponsorships and social media collaborations.
3. Communications & PR Specialists: Manage our public narrative and build relationships with the media.
4. Social Media Leads (Instagram & LinkedIn): Grow our presence online by creating engaging content that resonates with our audience.
5. Education Program Managers: Design and oversee educational content that empowers our youth.
6. Event Managers & Coordinators: Organise and manage events that make legal learning accessible and engaging.

Your Commitment: Join us for a minimum of six months, participating in at least 80% of scheduled meetings to ensure project continuity:

• Bi-weekly Dual Lead Meetings: Strategise with your co-lead and me to keep projects on track.
• 1:1 Meetings on Alternate Weeks: Focus on detailed task management and collaboration.
• Monthly Team Meetings: Share successes and set goals for the upcoming month.

Location Requirements: All volunteers must be based in Australia. Event Coordinators need to be in Melbourne, as our events are currently location-specific.
