We are seeking a friendly and caring person for social support for a gentleman in Carrington who would enjoy going for a walk or outing, a cuppa and a chat at a café or to watch the footy.

Do you like boats and sailing? This role involves collecting a 3.5M poly boat on a purpose-built aluminium trailer with an electric start 4-stroke motor and towing it 500 meters to a public boat ramp. Launch the boat with the help of club members, drive the boat out onto Throsby Creek and lay markers to create a sailing course. Return to shore and be on standby to collect distressed model boats if required. When racing has concluded, collect the buoys & return the boat to its original location.

Your planning and communication skills will be highly regarded in this role working with Community User Groups. We are seeking a volunteer to liaise with various sporting clubs to create a collective events calendar. The calendar will identify each club's planned activities. The role also involves planning and coordinating weekly interviews with each of the sporting bodies as well as Community Radio to promote awareness of upcoming events.

We are looking for people to drive a 12-seater bus (C-licence) collecting/returning seafarers from vessels in Newcastle Port to the nearby Mission Centre and local shopping complex, as requested, with occasional sightseeing trips. In particular, to cover the Evening shift - Mondays to Sundays, 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm and the Day shift, Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am to 7 pm.
