We are currently recruiting Driver and Delivery Volunteers for our Campbelltown branch to distribute a delicious three-course meal and provide valuable social contact for many people living independently in our community. Approximate hours; between 11.00 am and 1.30 pm.
Our Campbelltown Branch is currently looking for a volunteer to assist with administrative duties, Wednesdays 8am - 11am. Administration tasks will include liaising with customers, answering the phone, updating the database, menu input, fax/emails and various administration duties.
The volunteer driver is responsible for the transportation of Beyond Blindness members to various services offered by the organisation including social groups, bus trips & occasional medical/shopping trips & can include one-on-one social time. Volunteers are welcomed as part of the small team in the southern area. All volunteers are given training to assist blind persons. The Volunteer Driver will be required to use their own vehicle which will need to have comprehensive insurance.

Role is general maintenance and safety checks that include checking tyre pressure, fluid levels and cleaning vehicles inside and out.
Beyond Blindness is looking for a Volunteer who could spare a couple of hours and has an interest in nature and enjoys light work in the outdoors to do some general gardening.

Beyond Blindness is looking for enthusiastic and self motivated volunteers who are excited to share their computer skills and spare a couple of hours a week to provide basic computer and technology assistance to our members who are blind.

Several of our Meals on Wheels (MoWSA) branches require a Chairperson. Training is provided, and support is given from the Branch Support Officer at Central Office. If you have administration experience, or are willing to learn, and looking at volunteering as an on-going activity we would love to hear from you. We require a 12 month minimum commitment, so please only apply if available longer term.
