We provide support packages for the various activities and videos and other resources to explain why the work is important.

As a Mac Mates Volunteer you will be providing regular support and encouragement to someone living with a macular disease.

The Peer Support Group Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to guide a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable but not necessary.
