Toot toot, Beep beep! HammondCare Horsley is looking for a Mini-van Volunteer Driver Mondays for our aged care Residents to enjoy an outing in the local area. You will be accompanied by care staff who will look after the resident’s care needs.

We are seeking a male volunteer passionate to connect with a Male Resident and assist his visits to a local Men’s Shed, share the experiences, skills and facilitate socialising with others. If you have an interest in all things related to woodworking, painting, traditional wood carving, or mechanics, this role is for you. Volunteering at HammondCare Horsley will be a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for people who are living with dementia.

Join Residents as they contribute to planting and maintaining cottage gardens. Bring fun and energy while helping guide people enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their garden grow. Perhaps you have a background in horticulture or just have a green thumb? You will help older residents maintain their mobility as well as improve their health wellbeing while having fun!

We are looking for a reliable person to assist us one or two days per week to keep our Residential Care Home looking its best. Duties may include tidy up of our gardens, pruning, site rubbish pickup, minor repairs and maintenance, changing light globes. BBQ checks. pressure washing paths tidy-up storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks. If you feel this is a good match for you, we'd like to hear from you.

HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in an aged care home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be a Christian actively involved with a local church in the area.

Join our Physio Team to assist with the Weekly exercise group. Bring fun and energy to a fitness workout while helping guide people with gentle movements. Perhaps you have a background in fitness, dance, yoga, physio, or Pilates? You will helping older residents in care to maintain their mobility as well as improve their healthy wellbeing and have fun!

Walk and talk... Enjoy assisting elderly residents spend time in the sunshine as you stroll around the facility grounds and the Horsley community from the care home. You'll be helping people to maintain their mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing.

Seeking dog lovers to bring in your treasured pooch! Bring along your friendly good-natured pet and spend time chatting with people. You’ll see what a difference your furry friend can make. We ask that your pet is: Calm and gentle in nature, with Up-to-date vaccinations, worms and flea treatment, short blunt claws, and be kept on a lead when visiting.

Spend time with an elderly person who would like a social visitor at HammondCare Horsley Residential Aged care home at Horsley. Ideally, you'll be a fluent Italian speaker, have general knowledge about Italy and enjoy chatting with people.
