Advocate for mental health awareness and de-stigmatization within the youth community. Engage with youth to provide resources, support, and encourage open conversations about mental health. Create and share engaging content on social media platforms to reach a wider audience (via texts & videos) Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health promotion.

Build and manage relationships with current and potential donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners. Work closely with volunteers, fostering strong communication and ensuring they feel valued and engaged. Identify and cultivate new partnerships with schools, local businesses, organizations, and community groups. Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events Develop strategies for donor retention and acquisition.

With the Courage to Care team you will visit schools to participate in an anti-discrimination Program in one of two roles: 1. Present in a 25-minute segment historical stories about the rescuers - or "Upstanders" - during the Holocaust to groups of 30 students from Years 6 -12. OR 2. Facilitate in a 30-45 minute segment a conversation with 10-20 students about discrimination to encourage "Upstander" rather than "bystander" behaviour.
