You will be responsible for delivering/collecting various items (including heavy/ bulky items) to/from shops across the region and will deliver these items to community members in need. By performing this role, you will help raise funds by distributing welfare items across the region to support the housing of the homeless and other vulnerable people in the community. You will perform your duties alongside another volunteer and will work as part of the wider team at our Distribution Centre.
Help provide a warm welcome to visitors to our Centre. A cleaner r is required for our Centre which welcomes visitors from across the globe. The role will involve the general cleaning of public and office areas. Tasks include, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and emptying garbage bins. The role includes cleaning bathrooms and toilets as well as mopping floors.
