HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in an aged care home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be actively involved with a local Christian church.
Local aged care facility is looking for people to engage with people living with dementia to potter in the gardens, water and tend to the variety of plants. Not hard work, just the opportunity to share your love for gardening. Ideally, it would be appreciated if you could have an availability of at least one hour per week. Days and times to suit each applicant.

Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! As a HammondCare Golden Cup Café Club Volunteer, you'll be helping residents enjoy meeting others and socialising at our onsite engagement space 'The Hub'. Fortnightly visits will see you inviting residents to the café club, starting conversations, taking drink requests, serving some treats for afternoon tea, maybe even start a sing-along, to name a few.
Work with a supportive team and develop your skills. You will also assist in setting up for hot cooked community breakfast each Monday and Thursday, ensuring clients have everything they need. General cleaning as required.
