Sydney Heritage Fleet has a world-class collection of steam ships, harbour ferries and especially the fully rigged tall ship James Craig. All our vessels were restored and are maintained in-house by our own volunteers. So enormous quantities of historic components, spares and materials have been acquired and used or kept for use when needs arise. Sadly these stores of parts and material have in the usual way fallen into a mess. Your job will be to create some order out of chaos.
Sydney Heritage Fleet needs maintenance crew members on its two regularly-used coal-fired steamers. We also own and operate several restored historic vessels representing our maritime heritage, including steam tug Waratah (Cockatoo Island Dockyard 1902, VIP steam launch Lady Hopetoun, (Sydney 1902), Kanangra a 1,000 - passenger double-ended harbour ferry, John Oxley a former Moreton Bay pilot steamer some restored vintage diesel launches and especially tall ship James Craig
