Due to an increase in demand for our services, we have opportunities for additional volunteers to join our team to assist older people to maintain their independence in their own homes. We are seeking individuals who are compassionate and committed to enhancing the lives of individuals in our communities.

Use your cooking skills to assist in preparing nutritious meals for seniors in our vibrant Multicultural Social Support Group. Assist with the setup, serving and clean up. Eat your delicious meal with the group and share stories and fun.

Spend time with an with an elderly client living at home in the Illawarra, who is seeking friendly visitor to catch up for weekly or fortnightly chats (30 minutes). Enjoy a wonder around the garden, game of cards or simply chatting together over a cuppa during your visits.

HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly people living in their home. As a pastoral care volunteer you’ll be actively involved with a local Christian church in the area.
