Our service provides valued social interaction and ensures clients remain connected to community and functional in their own life. As a Volunteer, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for clients by being a friendly face and helping hand. You will assist with daily activities, outings or transportation, and encourage clients to maintain independence.

Our community organisation is seeking an IT Support Volunteer to provide user support. You will address and resolve technical problems related to hardware, software, and network systems. Ensure that all hardware and software installations are functioning. Work to enhance the efficiency, performance and reliability of IT systems.

Your gardening experience, or your willingness to learn new gardening skills, will be greatly appreciated in this role. You'll be working outdoors in a beautiful setting: planting, weeding, pruning and mulching as well as other garden related activities. Days and hours are negotiable to suit your schedule. The role requires a current Criminal Record Check and would prefer a current Working with Children Check.

Work with our Events/Activities Committee to prepare and present a variety of craft, art, gardening, or music activities with our community. Duties include setting up and disassembling these activities, meet and greet, signing off attendees, running the small event (approx. 10-20 people), and cleaning the space before and after the event. You may also assist with teaching and sharing your skills with activities.

Your interest in gardens and horticulture, enthusiasm for all things environmental and love of informing others will be greatly valued in this role. You'll be asked to guide, inform and educate visitors, including groups from schools and other educational institutions, and to assist with other educational activities. Tours and activities will be scheduled in consultation with you. This role requires a current Criminal Record check and would prefer to also have Working with Children Check.

Maintain and enhance your hospitality skills. Work within a supportive team environment and a beautiful garden setting. You will assist the Cafe Manager with customer service and food preparation. The role includes cleaning duties of the kitchen and café areas as well as the internal amenities. Days and hours are negotiable to suit your schedule. The role requires a current National Criminal Record check, and a current Working with Children check.

Your excellent communication and organisation skills are required for this Role. You will be managing the recruitment, interviewing and induction of new volunteers. Tasks include maintaining the volunteers and membership database and associated record keeping, providing support and consultation for volunteers on work related matters and undertaking an administrative support role within the Business Office.

Showcase your musical skills! Come join in the fun! Share your love of music with residents living with Dementia, at our Sunday Sing-Along Sessions. As you volunteer and play/sing, you'll be providing a lovely opportunity for residents to sing some of their favourites.

Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with ice cream, toppings & sweet treats around to residents living with dementia at our residential aged care home. We all love a sweet treat once in a while. You’ll bring joy to residents every time you pass by.

We are looking for some friendly faces to join us in assisting residents to and from our on site Chapel service. Share your skills with people living with dementia who are frail and elderly at our Residential Aged Care Home in Cardiff who enjoy a chat and sing a long.

Cakes, muffins and pies oh my! There is nothing better than a home cooked cake, so what better way to make our residents feel at home than with a delicious morning or afternoon tea, made with love. Each cottage has a fully functioning kitchen - just like the one you would have at home. We'll provide you with everything you need to prepare and cook your sweet treats.

As you visit and spend time with elderly male residents at HammondCare Cardiff, you'll help with activities to build friendship amongst the male residents. Some common activities include cooking at BBQ, card games with tea/coffee cake and an occasional beer and chips.
