During your weekly or fortnightly visit you would simply join them for a cuppa and a chat, and we will share more about each person during our call. Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team! Spend time with an with an elderly Gentleman seeking a Russian speaking Social Visitor at a Residential Care Home in Marsfield. He would enjoy someone to visit and play a game of chess or dominoes. Should you visit on a nice day perhaps a stroll outside, or sit back and chat about soccer over a cuppa.
You will play a key role in supporting and empowering individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from Afghan refugee and migrant communities. You will be supporting our organization to strengthen and scale its settlement activities through developing best practice programs and settlement / community development solutions.
